Aviation Educators to Embark in November of 2025 on a Cruise of Fun, Learning, and Networking on Princess Cruises’ Majestic Princess
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, SUN ‘n FUN Lakeland, FL April 3, 2025 – In November of last year, 170 aviation educators and professionals set sail on Royal Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas, combining high-quality learning, networking, and relaxation with a stop in Cozumel, Mexico. The Envision Flight conference was hosted by King Schools and provided a productive setting to delve into issues that flight educators face daily.
After making waves with that first Aviation Symposium at Sea, King Schools will once again host the event in November of 2025.
“Aviation educators often attend multiple symposiums a year, sometimes held in uninspiring venues with high price tags and rushed schedules,” said Brian Hough, SVP of Business Development for King Schools. “With Envision Flight, we’re flipping the script. A cruise cabin costs less than a typical three-night hotel stay, includes all your meals, and the symposium itself. No extra charge. Plus, it’s family-friendly so you can bring your partner or guest along for a minimal additional cost.”
Last year’s cruise featured:
- Well-known aviation educators John and Martha King delivering insight and inspiration.
- 13 expert-led sessions on topics like industry trends, mental health, generational dynamics in flight instruction, and the booming drone education space under Part 107.
- A Textron Aviation showcase of the latest aircraft.
- “Judge Martha,” a laugh-out-loud mock FAA courtroom drama with a popular verdict of “Walk the Plank”.

Barry Knuttila, King Schools’ CEO commented, “Last year, attendees also dove into team-building games, won prizes, and built genuine connections—all while sailing the Caribbean. Industry sponsors also enjoyed the relaxed format and the extended opportunities to connect with educators, students, and instructors.”
What’s New for 2025
This year, King Schools reports that the Envision Flight Aviation Symposium is heading out on the Majestic Princess, departing November 2, 2025, from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Ports of call include:
- Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
- Roatan (Mahogany Bay), Honduras
- Cozumel, Mexico
All cruise days include educational sessions, guest speakers, and networking opportunities—plus downtime to relax, recharge, and enjoy the sea breeze.
The Envision Flight Symposium at Sea will provide the opportunity to sail alongside aviation’s legendary teachers, John and Martha King and experience a symposium that includes both professional development and Caribbean adventure. So, whether you are a university or college program leader, a flight school owner, a CFI, or a private pilot with a thirst for knowledge and community, the cruise should provide a chance to learn, grow, and be thoughtful about the future of aviation education.
